The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Burj Al Arab is managed by the Jumeirah Group and it was built between 1994 and 1999. It was designed by British architect Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC and Said Khalil of Mitchelsson Group with the design and construction managed by canadian engineer Ricky Gregory of WS Atkins. At 321 metres or 1053 feet, it is the tallest building used exclusively as a hotel.
The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 metres or 919 feet out from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curring bridge. It is an iconic structure, designed to symbolize Dubai's urban transformation and to mimic the sail of a boat. Construction of Burj Al Arab began in 1994. It was built to resemble the sail of a dhow, a type of Arabian Vessel. that all i can tell about the Burj Al Arab.
