NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand is is a country in the south-western Pacific Ocean comprising two large islands (the North Island and the South Island.New Zealand is notable for its geographic isolation, situated about 2000 km (1250 miles) southeast of Australia across the Tasman Sea. The population at new zealand is a 4,182,000 until April 2007 .The population is mostly of European descent, with the indigenous Māori being the largest minority. Asians and non-Maori Polynesians are also significant minorities.Religion in New Zealand 17 % is a anglican, roman catholic is a 14% and other. New Zealand is one of the most recently settled major land masses. The first settlers of New Zealand were Eastern Polynesians who came to New Zealand, probably in a series of migrations, sometime between around AD 800 and 1300. Political power is held by the democratically elected Parliament of New Zealand under the leadership of the Prime Minister, who is the Head of Government. There are many sights to see in New Zealand.
