It is built by Tom Wright of Atkins,Said Khalil of Mitchelsson Group.The located is Dubai,United Arab Emirates.The date was built between 1194 and 1999.The building type is Hotel and restaurant.Burj Al-Arab height at 333 metres(1090 f).It is stand on an artificial island 280 metres(919 f) out from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge.

THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING( ABDUL RAHIM BIN HASMAM )

The Empire State was built between 1931-1972 by John Thomson. It is made 41 years old. It is located in New York city, United State. It stood as the world’s tallest building for more than fourty years. This building is made of grass and steal. The Style of this building is modern.The Empire State building has been name by the American Society of civil Engineers as one of the seven wonders of the Modern World. You all can see the hole city when you are inside the building.

Sears Tower was built in downtown Chicago as the headquarters of Sears, Roebuck & Co. It opened in 1974 as the world's tallest building, 1,474 feet, with 110 stories and 4.5 million square feet of office space. The building was designed by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and constructed in only

thirty months. Engineer Fazlur Khan structured the building as nine square tubes of varying heights, bundled together to resist high winds and a technological innovation that was developed specifically for the mammoth skyscraper. The Sears

Tower has an exterior of black aluminum and bronze-toned glass cut by black bands. The Sears Tower is the fourth tallest building in the world and still the tallest in the United States.

Buckingham Palace is located in Marble Arch near Oxford Street, London. Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch. Buckingham Palace was built between 1703 – 1913 by John Nash and Edward Blare. It is built in a Neo-Classical style. At the first time, Buckingham Palace is a Buckingham House. At the rear of the palace is the large park-like garden, the largest private garden in London. The landscape design was by Capability Brown but the garden was redesigned at the time of the palace rebuilding by William Aiton of Kew Gardens and John Nash. Like the palace itself, the Buckingham Palace Gardens are rich in works of art. Buckingham Palace finally became the principal Royal residence in 1837 on the accession of Queen Victoria. As a result many of the rooms in the new wing have a distinctly oriental atmosphere. The Yellow Drawing Room has 18th century wall paper, which was supplied in 1817 for the Brighton Saloon. Victoria Memorial was created by the sculptor Sir Thomas Brock in 1911 and erected in front of the main gates at Buckingham Palace on a surround was constructed by the architect Sir Aston Webb.Today, Buckingham Palace is not only the home of the Queen and Prince Philip but also the London residence of the Duke of York and the Earl and Countess of Wessex. The palace also houses the office of the monarchy and its associated functions. The visitor route for 2006 onwards is currently being updated for reasons of presentation and security.

The Sears Tower is located in Chicago,USA. It can be found in The City Centre of Chicago, Illinois. It is the 4th tallest buildings in the world started from this year ,2008. Before that, it is the tallest building in the world since 1974 until 1996 and also the tallest building in The United States since 1974 until 2008. The Architect was Bruce Graham, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill from SOM company. The Sears Tower was completion in 1974,it is very tall skyscraper with 90th floor and reaches 442 metres/ 1,450 feet, 108 stories also.

The Sears Tower were took three year to build and some 1,600 worked on the project. Overall about the cost is US$ 150,000,000. The building is very strong because it is made from steel and facing materials is black aluminum. it's used for office and mall . The style of the building is modern. The Sears Tower hold the Book Of Record for 25 years before Kuala Lumpur Petronas's Tower.

Assignment 2 (Sydney Opera House)

The Sydney Opera is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on June 28, 2007. Based on the competition winning entry by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most distinctive 20th century buildings, and one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world. It’s situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The building and its surroundings are one of the best known icons of Australia.

The Opera House was formally opened by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on 20, 1973. Then, the Sydney Opera House is an expressionst modern design with a series of large precast concrete ‘shells’. The Opera House covers 1.8 hectares of land. It is 183 metres long and about 120 metres wide at its widest point. The roof of the house are covered with 1,056 milion glossy white and matte cream Swedish –made tiles.

The Sydney Opera House contains five performance space, other areas used for performance recording studio, five restaurants and four souvenir shops. The five venues making up the main performance facilities are The Concert Hall, The Opera Theatre, The Drama Theatre, The Playhouse and The Studio. This is very interesting and unique.

Now, I would like to introduce about building of Sears Tower. Sears Tower is the tallest building in North America and the third tallest building in the world. Sears tower is situated in Wacker Drive in the heart of the West Loop, Chicago's Illinois, USA. Originally designed in the late 60's by Bruce Graham of Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill.

Sears Tower was built on May 3, 1973 and cost of Sears Tower was $15o million. it is a very tall skyscraper with of hight 1,454 feet and it has 110 stories. The style of building is modern and it is location for business. The building is light inside because it is made of glass and steel and facing materials of building from black aluminium. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Chicago skyline and in the world. Sears Tower held the record for the world's tallest building for 25 years until the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was built in 1988.
