Blue Mosque is the most beautiful and famous building in the world. It is one of several mosques known as Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. It is built by Mehmed Aga between 1609 and 1616. Its located at Istanbul, Turky. The style of building is islamic style. it is made of glass and marble. The mosque also has 6 minarets. According to history, it has 6 minarets because the architect misunderstood what Sultan Ahmad said. It has 260 windows which let the sunlight diffuse into the building quite nicely.

Assignment 2(Blue Mosque,Istanbul Turkey)

The Blue Mosque was founded by Sultan Ahmet 1. He orderded architect Mehmed Aga to begin construction in 1609 and the whole complex was completed in 1616. It is built in an Islamic style. It is located on the site of the Great Palace of Byzantium on the southestern side of the Hippodrome and next to Hagia Sophia,Istanbul Turkey. The interior's high ceiling is lined with about 20,000 blue tiles that give the mosque its popular name. Fine examples of 16th century iznik design,the tiles feature flowers, trees, and abstract patterns. The Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of Istanbul,especially when viewed from the first Hill or from the Asian Shore of the Sea of Marmara. It is very impressive with its beautiful domes and semidomes, nice courtyards and six slender minarets.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building , also called as Tokyo City Hall, is the building which houses the headquarters of the Tokyo local government .

It's located in Shinjuku, it held title of the tallest building (by roof height) in Tokyo , at 243 meters (799 feet), from 1991 until late 2006, when it surrendered its title upon the completion of Midtown Tower. The two top-floor panoramic observation decks are free of charge to the public and contain many gift shops.

The building consists of a complex of three structures each taking up a city block. The tallest and most prominent of the three is Tokyo Metropolitan Main building No.1, a tower 48 stories tall that splits into two sections at the 33rd floor. The building also has three levels below ground. The design of the building (which was supposed to look like a computer chip), by architect Kenzo Tange (and associates), has many symbolic touches, most notably the aforementioned split which re-creates the look of a Gothic cathedral.It's constructions system is metal cladding.It style is modern and Neo-Regionalist.

It's finished in 1991 at the expense of 157 billion yen (about US$ 1 billion) of public money, a popular nickname for Tochō is "Tax Tower".
